What is HotDocs© Player?
HotDocs© Player is free software that lets you assemble HotDocs© templates created by REAL Law Forms. HotDocs© Player guides you through interview-style questions to gather necessary information and then assembles a custom document based on your answers. You can modify the custom document in your word processor.
What type of word processor will work with your template sets?
All of our templates are Word RTF files and HotDocs© Filler files. Most versions of Word will work with the templates, but we recommend using the latest version of Word. HotDocs© PDF Advantage is for form based templates and is included with HotDocs© Player.
Can I modify the templates in your template sets?
Yes, you can modify the templates. We recommend you purchase HotDocs© Pro with PDF Advantage if you would like to make modifications. To purchase a HotDocs call (801) 766-8178. Once you have modified the templates, the support for those specific templates is no longer available. If you need help troubleshooting modified templates or making the modifications, REAL can provide training and consulting services.
Can I use your template set with other vendor’s template sets?
Yes, we put our templates into our own directory and library. To use other vendor’s template sets, open the library for the template set you want to use.
What are your support hours?
Our current support hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm MST except the following holidays: Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving plus the day after, and December 24th through January 1
